a night of analogue films from ACME OBSCURA
Other Eyes – Many Places is a program of works put together by Madrid-based film-maker Álvaro Feldman and friends from Spain’s analogue/experimental film scene. Feldman will be present to introduce the program in person.
During his studies, Feldman began to explore the possibilities of analog film production and developed a fascination with the tangible aspects of working with film material, such as developing, editing and printing. He currently teaches at LAV Madrid and coordinates ACME OBSCURA, the first laboratory in Madrid dedicated to analog film-making.
Spaces such as ACME OBSCURA contribute to a rich scene of international artists living in Madrid, as well as other cities in Spain, making it possible for artists and filmmakers to build a community around analogue filmmaking and providing a space to gather and share knowledge, works and ideas.
This program is the result of a variety of glances and sensitivities, that collide through the works of Bibiana Chauchi, Céline Latil, Sofia Tudela, Nicole Remy, Borja Rodriguez, Laura Moreno, Saru Miras, Álvaro Feldman, Maria Pipla and Ceci Romero.
