Katrin Eissing – Postupak

Category:

Katrin Eissing is the LaborBerlin member who will be working in S.P.A.C.E from the 9th until the 31st of January 2024. For her residency Katrin has organized a series of gatherings and screenings at S.P.A.C.E. throughout the month of January.

What comes to mind when one considers the relationship between art, human rights and social responsibility?
How can one define a social space? How can such a space be created through art?
Is artistic practice an approach that can be defined? And when it is, what other social spheres could also be dealt with in this way?
Does dialogue primarily exist in the space between people speaking and/or taking action?
