LaborBerlin is happy to invite you all on the 22nd of January to Diego Behncke and Zach Hart’s presentation at S.P.A.C.E. in Wiesenstraße 29, the residency space that LaborBerlin is running in the context of the SPECTRAL project.
During Diego and Zach’s S.P.A.C.E. residency they used the studio space to shoot new 16mm material. The footage and audio collected will be presented as a work in progress taking on the form of an artist talk/experimental lecture/expanded cinema performance. Their work attempts to open various interlinked questions regarding the relations between hands and speech, objects and deception, mimicry and ruins, history and synthesis. The elements are contained within an unresolved form moving towards an unrecognizable, depersonalized and synthetic space.
